STORE POLICY

BEEF TIPS

There are a few things we have learned, a few things to keep in mind, in no particular order

  • We vacuum seal our 14-21 day aged beef to preserve freshness and flavor.  It will last a good long while in the freezer, we recommend you use it within 12 months.  Of course once you thaw it, you need to use it right away.

  • If you don't quite know what to order, try a box, it is better value than individual orders and gives you a good assortment of different cuts to try

  • If you don't know how to cook a particular cut of meat, send us a note (sales@vermontcattlecompany.com) and we will help you out.  If there is anything we like more than selling beef, it's eating it!

  • Be adventurous, try a new cut that you have not before, trust us, it will be worth it

QUALITY & SAFETY

We strive for the highest quality.  Our beef is packaged in a certified USDA facility with very high standards for quality.  It is frozen immediately and kept that way until it arrives at your door.

Please make sure to consume the beef products in accordance with USDA's safe minimum cooking temperatures. If your product happens to arrive at a temperature higher than 40 degrees, do not consume it, contact us immediately.
